The Situation:

Cisco Systems, Inc. is the worldwide leader in networking for the Internet. Vancouver Canada hosted the 2005 Cisco Summit one of the largest conventions Vancouver has ever hosted. The client required four camera crews to shoot live interviews and four on site editing suites to do live edits around the clock. The goal was to complete five 10 minute videos to show the 3200 delegates on the third day of the convention.

The Solution:

Pin Point Productions strong reputation in Vancouver for providing high quality corporate and promotional videos is due to our knowledgeable staff and their commitment to excellence. We also partner with the best camera operators and editors in Vancouver, which assisted us through this challenging task.

The day before the shoot we set up three shooting studios at the Pan Pacific Hotel, including backdrops, five point lighting, lav mics and broadcast cameras. We set up four editing stations, including, directors' monitors, DVCAM and BETA SP decks.

During the two-day video shoot, the camera crews and editors worked around the clock. Literally we worked for 38 hours straight to pull this time demanding video project off. At the end of the project not only did Pin Point Productions produce the five corporate videos that Cisco required, but we completed 14 corporate videos for the client.
