The Situation:

The Galiano Inn and Spa is a spectacular West Coast getaway located only a short distance from city life, but a million miles away. The Inn itself is a wellness retreat that holds a casual elegance, flavoring that of a Mediterranean ocean front Inn.

In this day in age, the Internet is one of the main tools used by travel enthusiasts in searching for that perfect retreat. The Galiano Inn however felt that it was not utilizing the potential the Internet had to offer.

The Solution:

Pin Point Productions was acquired to produce a 90-second travel/promotional video about the Galiano Inn & Spa, obtaining much more interest from potential browsers. The Galiano Inn & Spa began its way up the search engine rankings and now holds a prominent position on search engines such as Google, Yahoo and MSN.

Pin Point Productions traveled to the Inn on a Friday afternoon, and shot the entire project using a Canon XL2 camera, completing the shooting time in only 3 hours. Upon returning to Vancouver, the project was edited into a promotional video accompanied by a musical score, titling, web compression and a final cut mastered to DVD by the next week.
