The Situation:

Mayfair Hotels is a local Vancouver company, which has grown from one 58-room hotel in 1984 to ten great locations in Vancouver and Victoria BC in 2004. Their success comes from providing excellent guest service and comfort at an affordable price. Now that the company had so many properties their challenge was to keep all the rooms filled. They started a new marketing campaign in 2004, which included 60-second web commercial spots for each hotel to showcase on their websites.

The Solution:

The Pin Point Production team went to work immediately on this promotional video by creating video shooting scripts for each property.

Then a professional TV host was selected to assure a great image would be applied to each commercial. We were lucky to have found Rachelle Arnott, a beautiful and talented local actress that has many credits to her name on the Vancouver film scene.

Once the shooting scripts were approved the video production crew went to each location to properly light and shoot all the amenities of each property. The production lasted two weeks, and was then brought back to Pin PointÍs post-production studio. Compositing, titling, musical score and voice over were all handled within the studio.

Once the final cut was approved, each (webisode) was put to DVD as well as compressed to web. The promotional video production lasted a total of four weeks and was approved by the president of Mayfair Hotels & Resorts. Pleased with the high quality and quick turnaround time, the video now plays on each specific hotel website and traveling trade shows all over North America.
